Cowan scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 49-24 margin over Muncie Burris. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Cowan has managed all season.
Cowan relied on the efforts of Davelynn Lindsay, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and eight assists, and Savannah Hall, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hall has scored all season. Brooklyn Hall was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Daleville has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They snuck past Union with a 41-36 victory on Friday.
Cowan's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17. As for Daleville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
Cowan ended up a good deal behind Daleville when the teams last played on January 5th, losing 43-28. Can Cowan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
