Rose's Geoffrey Williams rumbled for the longest rushing play in 4A/3A Conference 14 this season in his game against Rocky Mount last week. Williams ran for 70 yards on the play and finished with 107 on the day as his team topped the Gryphons.
Rose added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Rocky Mount, 21-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Southern Wayne moved up to 264 from 295 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Saints were able to make move up by beating North Lenoir 52-33.
