Soccer Recap: Innovation Has No Trouble Against Gateway

Innovation had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victor by a 9-0 margin over the Gateway Panthers on Monday. The Bulls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Gateway from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Kamila Makki Ramirez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Innovation's victory bumped their record up to 14-0-2. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Innovation will face off against Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Innovation's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Auburndale's offense will have their work cut out for them. Gateway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
