Makayla Meyer made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off nine hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
