Central Square's John Vincentini recorded the longest rushing play in Section 3 Class AA 1 this season in his game against West Genesee last week. Vincentini ran for 51 yards on the play and finished with 72 on the day as his team fell to the Wildcats.
Cicero-North Syracuse scaled the state rankings by moving to 230 from 277 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Northstars were able to move up by falling to Christian Brothers Academy 42-21.

Cicero-North Syracuse's Owen Dziados and Vincenzo Iannuzzo have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dziados has thrown for 387 yards this season, while Iannuzzo, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 8 catches for 118 yards. The Redhawks' Smith leads the league in rushing yards with 268.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Christian Brothers Academy takes on second place West Genesee. The Brothers beat Joe Sindoni's team last week, while West Genesee bested Central Square.
