Even though the Tabb Tigers have not done well against the Walsingham Academy Trojans recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Tabb came out on top against Walsingham Academy by a score of 59-51. With that win, Tabb brought their scoring average up to 51.8 points per game.
Tabb got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Siegel out in front who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Siegel has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Powell, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
The win got Tabb back to even at 2-2. As for Walsingham Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Tabb will head out on the road to face off against Bruton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bruton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tabb in Virginia (Bruton is ranked 82nd, while Tabb is ranked 207th). Walsingham Academy will be home for the holidays to greet New Covenant at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
