Baseball Recap: School Without Walls Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If School Without Walls was feeling good fresh off their 20-0 takedown of Ballou last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Penguins took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln County Patriots on Friday.

Noah Lee and Sean Aldridge did some serious damage despite the final result: Lee scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Aldridge scored a run while going 2-for-4. Lee has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

School Without Walls' loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for Lincoln County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. School Without Walls will welcome Sutherland at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Lincoln County, they will host Jackson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
