Jamilette Hernandez and Delaney Treccia did most of the damage at the plate: Hernandez went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Treccia went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Julissa Galvaz, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Oak Park-River Forest not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 1st (when they won 15-7). They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Hinsdale Central. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Carolyn Rainey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Sienna Staszak was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Georgia Godellas was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Oak Park-River Forest's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Jones has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Oak Park-River Forest, though, as they've been averaging only 3.3 strikeouts. Will Jones keep running through batters, or will the Huskies buck the trend?
Jones suffered a grim 20-0 defeat to Oak Park-River Forest in their previous meeting back in May of 2022. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
