Tri-Valley waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Indian Valley Braves. The three-run effort marked the Scotties' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Ashlyn Davis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ally Peterson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Tri-Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Indian Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will face off against John Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Ridgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
