The Whitesboro Bearcats will be playing at home against the Pilot Point Bearcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Whitesboro's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Pilot Point has been banged up by 21 consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, Whitesboro was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-32 to Paradise. While losing is never fun, Whitesboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 659th, while Paradise is ranked 266th).
Pilot Point suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 86-17 loss at the hands of Ponder.
Whitesboro's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-15. As for Pilot Point, their loss dropped their record down to 1-21.
Everything came up roses for Whitesboro against Pilot Point in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 79-22 win. Does Whitesboro have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pilot Point turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
