If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Fredonia/Brocton. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Tonawanda at 7:00 PM. Fredonia/Brocton are coming into the matchup hot, having won five in a row.
Fredonia/Brocton strolled past Burgard with points to spare last Saturday, taking the contest 22-6.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their game two weeks ago, Tonawanda were humbled. They fell just short of Eden/North Collins by a score of 20-22. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but Tonawanda were outplayed the rest of the way.
Fredonia/Brocton's victory lifted them to 5-0 while Tonawanda's defeat dropped them down to 2-3. We'll find out if Fredonia/Brocton can add another positive mark to their record or if Tonawanda can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Fredonia/Brocton's step.
