The Oakland Patriots had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 53-34 win over Ezell-Harding Christian on Saturday. The victory was just what Oakland needed coming off of a 61-26 loss in their prior match.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oakland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Phillips, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Kyla Joy was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 14 rebounds.
Oakland's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakland will take on Green Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Middle Tennessee Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
