Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillside). They strolled past Marion P. Thomas with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 74-60. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Marion P. Thomas had strong showings from Nairi Latham, who posted 22 points and five assists, and Vincent Loomis, who had 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. The contest was Latham's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dayvon Hinson, who put up five points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Hillside now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Marion P. Thomas, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
