Grosse Pointe South was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cousino on Tuesday. The Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils were the clear victor by a 42-18 margin over the Cousino Patriots. That 24 point margin sets a new team best for the Blue Devils this season.

Grosse Pointe South's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Cousino, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grosse Pointe South will square off against Utica Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Utica Eisenhower will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Grosse Pointe South surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cousino, they will head out to face off against Utica at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cousino is facing Utica at the right time seeing as Utica is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
