After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wink, The McCamey Badgers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They snuck past Water Valley with a 36-30 victory. That's another feather in the cap for McCamey, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Grant Glidewell was his usual excellent self, throwing for 228 yards and five touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 129 yards. Glidewell is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Edgar Quinonez also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.
McCamey's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Water Valley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
McCamey will take on Iraan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Water Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
