On the hitting side, Lainey Babich was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Ella Sheehan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Orchard Park is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Frontier, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
