The result was an unpleasant reminder to Southern Prep Academy of the  15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  on Tuesday.
 Southern Prep Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Caleb Cole, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.
 On Springwood's side,  Eli Johnson was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole five bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Brayden Moseley, who  scored three  runs and  stole five bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Southern Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Springwood, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-7.
 Southern Prep Academy will be playing at home against Trinity Christian at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Springwood, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hooper Academy at 3:30  p.m.  on April 11th.
