Roosevelt was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Eastlake. The Roughriders came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.
Skyline extended the longest winning streak in 4A KingCo - Crown this week by beating Bothell, 34-7. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Spartans.
Ballard's dynamic duo of Johnny Verduin and Nate Rauda proved tough for Lynnwood to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Verduin threw for 126 yards and two touchdowns and Rauda had 53 yards receiving. Michael Assefa helped Ballard's passing attack out by catching three balls for 42 yards.
Conner Baumann was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 186 yards on 11 carries as Newport topped the Royals. Isaac Dotson also contributed to the rushing game with 129 yards on the ground.
6-foot-5 quarterback Max Browne of Skyline is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2436. He has also thrown 25 touchdowns. On the ground, the Knights' Baumann has rushed for 1049 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Rauda. The Ballard star has 41 catches for 765 yards.
Newport took down Inglemoor 57-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Baumann in the win.
