The win was nothing new for the Fighting Crusaders as they're now sitting on three straight.
Azle Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grayson Smith, who picked up 212 receiving yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 89 yards on only five carries. Smith's longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Durham, who threw for 316 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 80.8% of his passes.
Azle Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Smith and Durham. Smith got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
