The North Vermillion Falcons fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They claimed a resounding 41-6 victory over Attica on the road. North Vermillion's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
North Vermillion's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jerome White, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 60 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. White was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. Another player making a difference was Cody Tryon, who rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown.
North Vermillion is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Attica, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
North Vermillion will be playing in front of their home fans against Clinton Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Prairie is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Attica does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
