Etiwanda barely beat King the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Etiwanda Eagles' way against the King Wolves on Saturday as the Etiwanda Eagles made off with  a  10-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won six contests by more than seven  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Alyssa Galindo made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   seven  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Karrington Bennett, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. What's more,  she posted two  RBI, the most she's  had since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Frankie Nevarez, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
Etiwanda is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.3 runs over those games. With the  defeat, King broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.
 Coming up, Etiwanda will be taking part in a tournament against Cajon  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Cajon has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.75  runs per game on average), something Etiwanda will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for King, they will venture away from home to  take on Vista Murrieta  at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
