A Season-Best Effort from Taite Davis Leads Tate over Crestview
Taite Davis produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Tate to the win on Friday. Davis threw for 322 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Davis and Tate will stay at home for another week and welcome Escambia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Davis will face off against Nino Freeman, the Gators' star quarterback. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.
