There's no place like home for Chincoteague, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Wicomico Indians with a sharp 11-1 win on Monday. The Ponies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by ten runs or more this season.

Meredith Wright was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Ginny Sawyer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Chincoteague always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Chincoteague now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Wicomico, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
