Salem won the last time they faced Alcovy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Seminoles strolled past the Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 68-53. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Seminoles.

Alcovy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Antione Graves, who posted 16 points, and Mekhi Hamlin, who put up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kellin Hendrix, who had seven points and seven boards.

Salem has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem will venture away from home to face off against Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alcovy, they will head out to take on Locust Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
