Baseball Recap: Royal Wins Going Away Against Wapato

While Royal didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Wapato Wolves on Saturday. Considering the Knights have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Royal and bumps their season record up to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Wapato, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Royal will challenge Cashmere at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wapato, they will face off against Naches Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
