The South Bend Adams Eagles had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down New Prairie 63-49  on Friday. The  win was just what South Bend Adams needed coming off of a  60-37 loss in their prior  contest.
 South Bend Adams was led to victory by  Jarvis Tolbert and  Amari Wesson.  Tolbert  scored 20 points along with three  steals, while  Wesson  scored 24 points along with seven  rebounds. Tolbert is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games he's  played.  Kj Johnston was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with five  assists.
 Defeat or not, New Prairie got some senior leadership from  Trenton Klute and  Marshall Kmiecik.  Klute  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds, while  Kmiecik.  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and ten  rebounds. Kmiecik is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was  Jaydon Clemons, who  scored four points along with two  steals.
 South Bend Adams' win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for New Prairie, their defeat was  their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 4-17.
 South Bend Adams has the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Mishawaka at 7:45  p.m.  on February 13th. Mishawaka has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 236 points over their last four matches. As for New Prairie, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Goshen at 7:03  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Goshen's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last three matchups.
