In other batting news, Miami Valley Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Evan Lafferty, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Lafferty has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Owen Nickum was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
