The Fairfield Falcons won the last time they faced the Stafford Trojans, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Fairfield snuck past Stafford with a 46-41 win.
Mikayla Pugh continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with six rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Erin Schwertfeger, who scored six points along with 13 rebounds and four steals.
Fairfield now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Stafford, their loss was their 17th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.
Fairfield and Reno County HomeSchool will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Reno County HomeSchool is ranked 287th, while Fairfield is ranked 279th). Stafford on the road again on Friday and play against Central Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th.
