Riverside entered their tilt with Corning on Thursday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Bobcats. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Riverside's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Corning, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will square off against Cedar Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Corning, they will take on Marmaduke at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.13 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
