Valparaiso entered their tilt with Crown Point on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Crown Point Bulldogs by a score of 54-46. The score was all tied up 22-22 at the break, but the Vikings were the better team in the second half.

It was another big night for Lillian Barnes, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chyanne Brown, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Valparaiso smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Valparaiso's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Crown Point, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-5.

Valparaiso didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 72-63 win against McCutcheon on the 14th. Crown Point will take on Hobart in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Crown Point is facing Hobart at the right time seeing as Hobart is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
