Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask J.H. Rose). They blew past the Greene Central Rams 22-2 on Wednesday. The Rampants haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Michelle Jenkins made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caroline Alford, who scored three runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Santana Sneed, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
