The Parkway Center City Bulldogs suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Sayre 63-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Parkway Center City has scored all season.
Parkway Center City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden McKnight, who scored three points along with 14 rebounds and four steals. McKnight hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Kameron Fortune, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Parkway Center City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Sayre, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkway Center City and Strawberry Mansion will face off at 3:15 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Strawberry Mansion and Parkway Center City are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Sayre, they will head out on the road to face off against High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
