On Monday, everything came up roses for Classical Prep on the road against Central as the team secured a 49-12 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Classical Prep.
Classical Prep was led to victory by Kaelyn Malloy and Mia Milanes. Malloy scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals, while Milanes dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Haley Zimmerman, who scored 4 points along with 6 steals.
Classical Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Classical Prep will take on Fivay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Fivay focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 43 on Thursday. As for Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hernando at 6:30 p.m. Hernando is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.2 points per game.
