In what's become a running theme this season, the McKinney North Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Denison 53-20 at home. Winning may never get old, but McKinney North sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
McKinney North's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaelyn Hamilton, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Hamilton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ciara Harris, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
McKinney North pushed their record up to 23-10 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Denison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.
McKinney North will challenge Princeton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Princeton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully McKinney North likes a good challenge. As for Denison, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lovejoy at 6:15 p.m. Lovejoy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
