Another player making a difference was Abby Siegel, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.
Montrose was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Basalt only posted a batting average of .214.
Montrose's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Basalt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
