Master's Academy can attribute much of their success to Carissa Hennessey, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 18 rebounds, and 10 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hennessey has scored at least 25% of Master's Academy's points. Neesah Valentine was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 4 steals.
Despite the loss, Pineapple Cove Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Rachel Waine, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals.
The victory got Master's Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Master's Academy will square off against Jupiter Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pineapple Cove Classical Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Space Coast at 5:30 p.m. on November 29th. Space Coast is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
