Gardner had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 48-38 victory over the Fitchburg Red Raiders. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gardner's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Fitchburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Gardner will welcome Tahanto Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fitchburg, they and Marlborough will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
