In what's become a running theme this season, the Kongiganak Wolverines gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Eek 71-41 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Kongiganak who now have 11 in a row.
Kongiganak found their leader in underclassman Gracelyn Miller, who scored 23 points. Miller continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Mariah Tinker was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Kongiganak's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Eek, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Kongiganak didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-31 defeat vs. Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial on the 8th. Eek has also already played their next contest, a 43-34 loss against Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat on the 8th.
