Westwood has not had much luck with Southwest Georgia Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Southwest Georgia Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grayson Cox, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Banks Mathis, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Westwood has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-12 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Westwood will challenge Georgia Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Terrell Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
