Putnam has gone 6-1 against Centennial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Kingsmen will take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Putnam is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
Putnam came up short against Hillsboro on Friday, falling 13-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Kingsmen have suffered against the Spartans since May 7, 2019.

Ben Boman made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Putnam is 2-1 when Boman posts two or more runs, but 3-13 otherwise. Grady Cram also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Centennial was able to grind out a solid win over Parkrose on Friday, taking the game 9-6. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won six in a row.
Cameron Brooks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Blade Bland, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Walton, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Putnam's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Centennial, their record is now 7-14.
Everything went Putnam's way against Centennial in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Putnam made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Kingsmen repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
