The timing is sure in Carver College and Career Academy's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while West Point has been banged up by 15 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Carver College and Career Academy can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat King William 99-66 at home. With Carver College and Career Academy ahead 53-26 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Carver College and Career Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Camron Paul led the charge by scoring 31 points along with six assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Paul has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 18 rebounds.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for West Point, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-48 loss to Charles City on Friday.
Carver College and Career Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for West Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Everything came up roses for Carver College and Career Academy against West Point in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 107-30 win. With Carver College and Career Academy ahead 64-11 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
