Drew Beane Puts an End to Northview's Losing Streak on Thursday
Northview's 16-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Drew Beane. Beane threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Those 33 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Northview's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Beane and Northview will square off against Druid Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Thanks in part to Logan Kupfer, Northview said goodbye to their 16-game losing streak dating back to last season. Kupfer rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Gooding Made His Presence Known in Lithonia's 27-6 Win
Rounding off our Top Five is Albert Gooding of Lithonia. Gooding rushed for 161 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Lithonia is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Gooding and Lithonia will take on St. Pius X Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
