Scappoose were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against Pendleton on Friday. Scappoose lost to Pendleton by a decisive 27-47 margin. Scappoose's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
The defeat dropped Scappoose's record to 3-1. The victory bumped Pendleton's record up to 4-0.
Scappoose will stay at home next week against St. Helens at 7:00 PM. As for Pendleton, they will face off against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Pendleton's good fortune.
