Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glencoe). They never let the Forest Grove Vikings get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Friday. While the Crimson Tide didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Lucas Culbertson made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other pitching news, Connor Anderson looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Glencoe: the team is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise.
