The Iberia Rangers waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Maranatha Baptist Academy 88-30 at home. Iberia has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 30 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Maranatha Baptist Academy saw an underclassman step up: Clarence Brown scored 16 points.
Iberia pushed their record up to 14-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.7 points per game. As for Maranatha Baptist Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Iberia will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Lutheran will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 491st, while the Rangers are ranked 113th). Maranatha Baptist Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the on February 6th.
