Volleyball Recap: Norwell Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Norwell waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Lakeland Lakers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Norwell never let Lakeland on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 27-25.

Macie Saalfrank paced Norwell's offense, picking up nine kills. Saalfrank got some help from Emma Vachon and her 21 assists. Kaydence Krumma controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Norwell's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Lakeland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Norwell has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against East Noble on the 30th. As for Lakeland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Columbia City on the 30th.
