Scappoose is 0-9 against Banks since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Scappoose Indians' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Banks Braves at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (Scappoose is ranked 41st, while Banks is ranked 24th).
Last Saturday, Scappoose didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Marshfield, but they still walked away with a 48-43 victory.
Meanwhile, Banks had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 49-32 win over Tillamook.
Scappoose's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Banks, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Scappoose might still be hurting after the 62-38 loss they got from Banks in their previous matchup back in May of 2021. Can Scappoose avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
