Foster Posts Huge Game in 42-14 Loss
Starting off the list is Liberty Magnet's Zaiden Foster, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Foster rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 57 yards.
Liberty Magnet has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Foster and Liberty Magnet have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Zachary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Caleb Gonzales Turns in Season-Best Performance
Caleb Gonzales produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Zachary to the win on Friday. Gonzales threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns.
The victory was the third in a row for Zachary, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Gonzales and Zachary will challenge Liberty Magnet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Davekio Ruffin Dazzles in Zachary Win
Davekio Ruffin posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
This season, Ruffin has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 82.8 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 12.2 rushing yards per game.

Liberty Magnet Gets a Boost from Welch in 42-14 Defeat
The second Liberty Magnet player making an appearance here is Dedrick Welch, and for good reason. He picked up 76 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 44 yards. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 76 yards.
This year, Welch has averaged 125.8 rushing yards per game.

A Constellation of Stars for Zachary
Another Zachary player making an appearance on this list is Tralan Sept. He picked up 19 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Sept must have Scotlandville's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Sept rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Hornets duked it out back in October of 2023.
