The Buena Park Coyotes''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 14-13 victory over Sunny Hills. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Buena Park was the better team in the second half.
Jaden Moore got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Moore really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
Despite the defeat, Sunny Hills saw an underclassman step up: Elias Vorathavorn rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown.
Buena Park's win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Sunny Hills, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Buena Park will head out on the road to face off against Fullerton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fullerton is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Sunny Hills, they will be playing at home against Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Troy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday.
