The Ajo Red Raiders lost against the Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Ajo had to suffer through a rough 108-14 loss at the hands of Learning Foundation & Performing Arts. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ajo has scored all season.
Learning Foundation & Performing Arts was led to victory by Amaree Davis and Ronnell Davis. Davis scored 18 points, while Davis scored 21 points. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Philip Johnson Jr was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Ajo and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
Ajo will be playing in front of their home fans against A+ Charter School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Learning Foundation & Performing Arts and East Valley Athletes for Christ will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
